Mary E. Williams, 83 passed away peacefully on March 7, 2025. Born on November 28,1941 in Charleston, SC to the late Clifford M. Songer and Ethel H. Songer. Mary was a 1960 graduate of North Charleston High School. She was preceded in death by her husband David L. Williams.
Mary is survived by her daughter, Tina M. Lewis of St. Petersburg, FL; her son Ron Lewis (Laura) of Vero Beach, FL; Stepdaughters Renee Williams Kittrell (Jimmy) of James Island, SC and Jennifer Williams Lasseter (Randy) of Summerton, SC. Mary loved being “Granny” to her three grandchildren Chase and Dawson Lasseter and Olivia Lewis.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the American Heart Association.
Services will be held on March 21, 2025 at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home, 7113 Rivers Ave., North Charleston, SC 29406 from 11am to 12pm.
