When Larry called me today more than 60 years of memories, phone calls, letters, and a cherished friendship flashed through my mind. My thoughts drifted back to two young girls pushing their 'prams' down the streets of England up to our last visit together and the laughs we shared over 'High Tea.' I love you mate.

Yesterday we had to say goodbye to my Nan.  I tried to write something, but I could not manage.  It did not and still to a point does not feel real.  I expect to pickup the phone and call her this weekend as was our normal tradition. 

She was a great woman, she saw the world, lived through the Blitz of London, met Presidents, and married a young Marine.  But if you talk about legacy and what we leave behind, she would have said her's was her 3 children, 6 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren. 

I'm going to miss spending time with her, talking to her, and eating all of her delicious meals.  I'm going to miss introducing her in person to my daughter, though I am thankful she got to see pictures, video, and video chat with her.  I'm going to miss my Nana, but she is at peace now and no longer in pain.  I am thankful for the time we had with her.

Mavis was like a Mother to me, ever since we met she always showed Love and kindness. I always called her Mum, I will miss her so much. I pray for the family and will be there for them. Love you Mum.

Miss Mavis was our parent's best friend and like an English Aunt to my brother, sister and I.  We loved her delicious cooking and cups of tea.  She had a great sense of humor, and we shared many laughs.  She comforted us through the loss of our parents and always stayed close to us.  We loved her dearly and will miss her terribly.  Out thoughts and prayers to Larry and family.

Mrs Elledge was our adopted Aunt, she was there for every  special Herm family occassion. She has shared so many wonderful memories with our family. We will miss her so much and now she can visit my Dan and keep each company.  I know she is doing better and feeling wonderful now.  I pray for strength for Mr Elledge and the family to get through this difficult time. We all love you.

We are very sorry to hear about the sudden death of Mrs. Elledge. But her memories will always be with us. She was very special, and she will always have a special place in our lives. She will be missed dearly. Blessing to the Elledge family during this very difficult time, you will be in our prayers.

So sorry to hear about Mavis (Mrs. Elledge)- When I heard amount her passing, a ton of fond memories of our Miami days came flooding back!  She was a truly loving and wonderful person and will be missed terribly.
