Maxine W LeRoy

Maxine was born on July 19, 1928 to the late Harris J. Windham and Ruby P. Windham

in Manning, SC.

She is survived by: her son, Robert W. LeRoy Jr. (Kaye), and daughters Lynne LeRoy,

Karen Sudlow (Randy), grandchildren Alan LeRoy (Jenna), Michael LeRoy, RJ Sudlow,

Jessica Hobgood (Shawn) and Thomas Sudlow and great grandchildren Greg LeRoy,

Blakely LeRoy and Theo Hobgood.

Maxine is preceded in death by: her husband Robert W. LeRoy, Sr. and her parents, Mr.

and Mrs. Windham.

Maxine graduated from Chicora High School and worked at the Charleston Naval

Hospital, retiring after 40 years of civil service. She was a member of Cooper River

Baptist Church.

Maxine was an avid crafter and an accomplished seamstress.

A visitation will be held on Friday, January 19, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM in the

Social Hall at Cooper River Baptist Church, 1059 Crawford Street, North Charleston, SC

29405. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, January 20, 2024 at 11:00

AM at Cooper River Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Cooper River Baptist Church, the Shriners

Children’s Hospital of Greenville, SC, or the American Heart Association.
