Hello, My name is Ann Bridwell & i met Michael 25 years ago in Myrtle Beach..i live in Spartanburg & Michael and I have kept in touch all these years..I knew he was battling cancer & we spoke several times this year..I am so truly sorry for your loss, Mrs Brockington!! He was a wonderful person. As the Mother of a son myself, my heart breaks for you..Please know i will be praying for you to find peace. God bless you!

 I am so sorry to hear about Mike’s passing I will be praying for you for peace at this time. I was thinking about all the rounds of golf I played with Mike and Mr Brockington it was always a joy to play with them.  Now he’s up there playing a round with his Daddy. One thing I always admired about Mike was how he was always so pleasant to be around and he just made you feel comfortable to be around him.

My mind is flooded with memories of this wonderful, attractive,  kind, strong, man.  He was several years ahead of me in high school but he was ALWAYS able to send a smile to me....I remember seeing him active in many places and with many different people.  His greatest gift to all of us left here was his boldness in his faith in Jesus THE CHRIST amen Mike is now in the eternal presence of God and his LORD AND SAVIOR   prayers for his sweet little momma and his family and closest friends especially Joe Hobby who will greatly miss Mike and has memories too many to recount. God strength and love during this extremely difficult time of loss....Till the roll is called up yonder.

I’ve known Michael since high school. He was always  a gentleman. I never heard him speak an unkind word about anyone. He loved his friends and family and was an attentive and loving son. Michael was someone I aspired to be. He will be greatly missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing him. My sincere condolences to Mrs. Brockington whom I always admired. Enjoyed catching up with Mike on Facebook after years of separation since high school graduation.  Praying for his precious mother.  Thankful Mike was a Christian and death is only a temporary separation.  Looking forward to that great reunion one day soon.  

I am blessed to have been able to call Michael my friend and brother in Christ. I will remember the fun we had serving on Presbyterian Cursillo/Pilgrimage staff. I could count on him to bring the crushed ice from Sonic for us to share. He loved being a Palanca Cha butterfly and that’s how I will remember him. He fought valiantly until the end.  Rest In Peace bro, until we meet again.
