I briefly worked with Tony while at St Francis but got to know him better meeting up occasionally at the SC Biomed Association. Tony was one of those rare people that spending just a few minutes with him made you feel like an old friend, a rare quality indeed. Always had a infectious smile on his face, I will miss that smile.
May God bless his family and loved ones

I’m so sorry to learn of Tony’s passing and for not being able to attend his services. Tony and I worked together for many years at Roper Hospital. He was always a hard worker with many effective ideas on how to make the Biomed Shop the best it could be. He was dedicated to his work and always went the extra mile to ensure his assigned department’s equipment was in top notch working order. But, beyond his equipment service he built loyal relationships within the Biomed Team and the customers he served. Tony was well liked, and I received numerous positive comments on his daily work performance. Tony loved to help others and always had a big smile when he spoke of his family that obviously meant so much to him. It was a joy to work with Tony and to have him as a friend. I can’t get by without mentioning the wonderful banana pudding that he made and brought to share with the staff. Many good memories that I will have from such a good man. Love and comfort be with you Tony as you start on your next journey. May God bless and comfort all the family members that he leaves behind!

Tony Farmer was a great guy! As a Biomedical Engineer at Roper St. Francis, he was the best at troubleshooting problems impacting patient care. He would not stop until the problem was solved. And he worked with a humor and knowledge not otherwise seen today.
Men like him are now in short supply. My God, where will we find today such knowledgeable and persevering men as Tony Farmer?
