Miss Mildred Gross

Mildred Frances Gross, 90, of Hanahan , entered into eternal rest Friday April 17, 2015. The relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral services on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at 2:00 pm at CAROLINA MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Tuesday 1 hour prior at the funeral home. Mildred was born October 18, 1924 in Wichita Falls, TX , a daughter of the late Daniel S. Gross Sr. and Trixie Cannedy Gross. She had been employed at the Charleston Naval Shipyard in Industrial Relations and retired from The Charleston Air Force Base Civilian Personal. She had been a member of Charleston Heights Baptist Church and a pianist at Grace Baptist Church of Goose Creek.. Mildred was very active and a proud member of the Order of The Eastern Star. She also enjoyed dancing at the USO in her early years. Mildred is survived by her brother: Daniel Stephens Gross JR. and his wife Sylvia of Hanahan, SC, a nephew: Danny S. Gross III (Pankay) of Mt. Pleasant , nieces : Belinda Servia (William) of Tampa, FL and Laura Cook (Randall) of Adams Run, SC. She was preceded in death by her nephew: Gary Gross.
