Obituary for Nancy Lee Milton Grimes Nancy Lee Milton Grimes, 90, of Charleston, SC passed away on Friday, March 25, 2016. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, April 2nd at Carolina Memorial Park, 7113 Rivers Avenue, North Charleston. Nancy was born on June 23, 1926 in Haymarket, Virginia. She was the daughter of the late Morton Douglas Milton and the late Elizabeth Utterback. Nancy was a secretary at the U.S. Pentagon for Air Force General Curtis LeMay where she held top security clearance. She transferred to Charleston, where she met her husband Darriel Grimes and was married in 1952. Nancy was a huge NASCAR fan, never met a dog she didn’t like and had a witty sense of humor. She had a unique way of saying things that always made people laugh. Nancy is survived by her husband Darriel Franklin Grimes; her niece, Jami (Milton) Meeks; and her three nephews, Ken Wollaber, Bill Wollaber and Dan Wollaber. She was preceded in death by her sister Peggy L. (Milton) Wollaber and her brother James D. Milton.
