Nelson Ray Beacham

Notice Text: Hanahan -Nelson " Ray" Beacham, 75 of Hanahan, SC, husband of 56 years to Andrea Beacham passed peacefully Saturday, March 31, 2018 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born and raised in Mount Vernon, Georgia and moved to South Carolina in 1962. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruby Jones and his sister, Anne Black. He is survived by his loving wife Andrea Beacham and their loving children Danny Beacham (Peggy), Tabitha Suggs (Paul), Staci McLain (Chris). His grandchildren, Cameron (Katherine), Paul, Andrea, Kristopher, Grant, Emma, Joshua, Brianna and Chase. His brothers, William Thigpen (Sherri), Marin Kirby (Cookie), Kenneth Kirby, Robert Kirby (Margo), David Kirby, Norman Kirby, and sister Glenda Thomas

Ray was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was the former owner of Carolina Rust Proofing and Ray's Auto Sales. He will be remembered as a generous and loving gentleman.

Visitation will be held on Monday , April 2, from 6 to 8 pm at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home, 7113 Rivers Ave. North Charleston. The Life Well Celebrated Service will be on Tuesday, April 3, 2018, 1pm at the Riverbluff Church, 5421 Riverbluff Parkway, Charleston. Burial to follow at Carolina Memorial Park, 7113 Rivers Ave. North Charleston. www.carolinamemorial.com
