I will always miss my sisters contagious laughter. I have great memories of just being at moms and enjoying just being together and laughing a lot. She loved line dancing and one of her favorite songs was,”Why don’t we just dance”. The way I remember my sister is in a purple blouse and jeans dancing and smiling. Rest In Peace dear sister until we meet again.🙏🏻

I remember after David’s funeral when the family gathered for a meal, Patsy commented on my purple sweater set. I was putting some of my sweaters away recently and came across the purple sweater set. I thought I think I’ll send this to Patsy because she really liked it! Wish I would have done that sooner. Love and prayers to Patsy’s family 💜

The last time she visited .. she showed up in pure Aunt Patsy style... purple car... purple nails... she even had a purple pool stick!! Her laugh was contagious .. esp when she was bantering with Jean Lee!! 😂 Although they were polar opposites.. They were so close... She had poppy’s big beautiful smile .. nanny’s gorgeous hair and eyes... she never missed a birthday or holiday... it kept her close to our hearts no matter how far away she lived. Our Hess car collection is still up in Josef’s room.. and will ALWAYS say Aunt Patsy loves you. RIP.. hug Uncle Dav.. Nanny & Poppy! We will see you guys sooner than you think. Don’t blink 🤗

I was born two weeks before Patsy's second birthday. i think it's safe to say after that her life wasn't as calm as she would have liked. Patsy was always "the little lady" while I was busy and in her way a lot! As we grew up Patsy watched out for me and I have many wonderful memories. I'll never forget her buying my first evening dress for the Christmas Dance my senior year. Just one beautiful memory from time with my beautiful sister! Rest in Peace Patricia Ann!

Anytime I see purple, I think “Aunt Patsy Purple.” I still have the card Aunt Patsy sent me when I graduated with my Ph.D. in 2011 in a frame in my office. It says, “Education is a bridge from where you are to anywhere you want to go.” Looking at it has always inspired me to pursue my dreams, and it inspires students who have visited my office at Concord University and Marist College. I have many fond memories of my Aunt Patsy. She was always a very sharp lady in every way. I am so sad that she is gone. Teresa, Colby, and Jaiden, you are in my thoughts and prayers always. I wish I could be there with you.
