Visitation will be held at 11:00 am, on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home, 7113 Rivers Avenue, North Charleston, SC 29406, followed by the Funeral Service at the same location from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm.
A Committal Service will immediately follow at Carolina Memorial Gardens, 7113 Rivers Avenue, North Charleston, SC 29406.
Patricia was born in Charleston, South Carolina, on November 9, 1947. She attended McCormick High School and worked in an administrative role with the Medical University of South Carolina's Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine. She was an avid supporter of the Shriner Hillbillys and enjoyed working in her yard, visiting with neighbors, and spending time with her grandchildren. She also cherished riding on a Harley-Davidson motorcycle with her late husband, Horace, creating memories they shared together.
Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Horace L. Brown; her parents, Robert P. Jeffreys and Mary Norwood; her brother, Ronnie Jeffreys; and her sister, Brenda Jeffreys.
She is survived by her two sons, Timothy L. DuPree, Jr., and his wife, April, of North Charleston, South Carolina, and P. Todd DuPree and his wife, Tara, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina; and her four beloved grandchildren, Patrick DuPree, Mason DuPree, Ashlyn DuPree, and Lila DuPree.
The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to the hospice team at Agape Hospice and the staff at The Village of Summerville for the incredible care, compassion, and support they provided to Patricia and her family.
