Pearl was born, July 13, 1942 in Hazelton West Virginia to Frank W. Fike and Dorothy I. Fike. A licensed hairdresser before her retirement in 1995, she loved cooking at the Fleet Reserve and was involved with the Ladies Auxiliary. Pearl also loved her family.
Pearl is preceded in death by her parents Frank & Dorothy Fike, sister Janet Thomas and brother Chester Fike and stepdaughter Faith Batton.
Pearl is survived by her husband of 31 years, William L. Korbisch, North Charleston South Carolina; sister, Charlotte (Dick) Brisbin of Salisbury, North Carolina; brothers - William Fike of Texas, Ralph (Billie) Fike of Ohio, Jim (Patti) Fike of North Carolina, son Ronnie Collins of Pennsylvania; daughter Tammie Lewis of North Carolina, step-children: Christopher Korbisch of South Carolina, Kimberly Welch of Georgia, Angela Walker and Pamela Strock of South Carolina and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Special Thanks to Crescent Hospice of North Charleston for their help during this transition in our lives. Their special care of Pearl and support to her loved ones was impeccable.

A private viewing with family will be held 10am to 11am Monday, August 8, 2022 with Graveside service directly following with family and friends at Carolina Funeral Home & Gardens, 7113 Rivers Ave, North Charleston South Carolina.
