She was born in Aiken, SC on April 27, 1936 the daughter of Henry and Frances Stewart. She worked at Aiken Hospital prior to marrying her late husband of 47 years, Norman F Cantrell.
She enjoyed traveling as a military wife and mother and lived in Georgia, Montana, Louisiana, Florida, California, Germany, and Michigan before settling in Charleston, SC.
Besides her parents, Henry and Frances Stewart (Huff), Pearline was preceded in death by her sister, Betty Stallings and her husband, Norman F Cantrell.
Pearline is survived by her sons; Christopher Cantrell and Michael Cantrell (Andrea Zicarelli).
A Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 11, 2024 from 1 p.m. – 2 p.m. at Carolina Funeral Home, 7113 Rivers Avenue North Charleston, SC 29406. A Memorial service will follow from 2 p.m. – 3 p.m. at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home. Burial to follow at 3 p.m. at Carolina Memorial Gardens.
