Reynaldo R. Rodriguez

Rey was born on November 13, 1941 to Porfirio and Aurora Rodriguez in Manila, Philippines. After graduating college, he worked as a loan officer at the Development Bank of the Philippines. In 1983, he immigrated to South Carolina with his wife, Luzviminda Rodriguez, and two sons, Caesar and Rhinnaldi Rodriguez.

Aside from spending time with his family, he especially enjoyed playing chess and watching his favorite sports teams. Being a devout Catholic, he was heavily involved in his church where he helped plan and organize several events alongside his wife. Rey had a vivacious laugh to match his charming persona, which will be remembered by all those who knew him.

Rey is survived by sons, Caesar Rodriguez (Mahalia) and Rhinnaldi Rodriguez (Jennifer); 6 grandchildren, Joshua, Angelica, Jordan, Reilly, Dylan and Grayson and numerous others.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am on Saturday August 21, 2021 at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church located at 6650 Dorchester Road, North Charleston, SC 29418.
