Richard Ingram Barrineau Sr.

Richard I. Barrineau, Sr., 74, of Summerville, SC, passed away May 6, 2022. Richard was born on March 21, 1948 to the late Ingram and Floye Barrineau in South Carolina. He is survived by his wife Brenda Karr Barrineau; son Richard (Richie) I. Barrineau, Jr, (Kelly); daughters Stacy Ann Tyler (Tommy), Lisa Roy (Rob), and Kara Luxmore (Lee); grandchildren Severance Barrineau, Kelsie Barrineau, Michael Powell (Emylee), Matthew Powell (Jessica), Zackary Tyler, Tyler Durham, Grayson Durham, Jackson Roy, Blaine DuBois, Kaden DuBois, Grier Luxmore, Sarah Luxmore, Jack Luxmore, and Ben Luxmore who lovingly called him “G-Daddy”; great grandson Maverick Powell; sister Lois Frech (Yves); nephew Alex Frech (Annie); uncle and aunt Scott and Mert Barrineau of Sumter, SC; Aunt Ida Barrineau of Manning, SC and many cousins. Graveside services will be held at Carolina Memorial Gardens, 7113 Rivers Ave., North Charleston, SC 29406, on Monday May 16, 2022 at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the charity of your choice or St. John the Beloved Parish in Summerville, SC.
