

Richard A. Pulaski, aged 88, of North Charleston, South Carolina, passed away peacefully on January 4th, 2024, surrounded by the love of his family. A memorial will be held at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home and Gardens on Saturday, January 13th, 2024, between 4:00 to 6:00.
Born on September 21st, 1935, in Charleston, SC, he was the son the of the late Aubrey Pulaski and Lurlene Thomas. He was a graduate of North Charleston High School and was drafted into military service in 1954, serving in the Army as military police. He then worked for Macalloy Corporation until retirement. Above all, Richard was a pillar of support for his family. His unwavering love left an impact on all the lives that he touched. He was a man of strong principles, and his life was marked by his unyielding spirit.
He is survived by two of his children, Paula Pulaski Wells of Goose Creek, SC, and John Aubrey Pulaski of Sarasota, FL; grandchildren: Toni Jimenez (Jeremy) of Summerville, SC, Robert Pulaski of Mocksville, NC, Ashley Pulaski of Barre, VT, Casey Pulaski of ME, Jordan Pulaski of Summerville, SC, Danielle Wells of Johns Island, SC, Meghan Smith of North Charleston, SC, Austen Wells of Summerville, SC, and Marvin “Buddy” Pulaski of Hanahan, SC; and great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his sons, Richard Anthony “Tony” Pulaski and Marvin Lee Pulaski, and grandchild Charles Pulaski.
A memorial visitation will be held at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home, 7113 Rivers Ave. North Charleston on Saturday, January 13th, 2024, between 4:00 to 6:00 pm. There will be United States Army Honors at the beginning of the visitation at 4 pm. Condolences may be expressed at carolinamemorial.com
