Relatives and friends of Robbin Heupel are invited to attend her Funeral Service at 12 Noon, Monday, February 16, 2026, at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, 7113 Rivers Ave., North Charleston, SC 29406. Burial will follow in Carolina Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until the time of service on Monday.
Robbin was born in College Park, Georgia, on December 9, 1961. She was the daughter of Marvin and Evelyn Waller.
Robbin lived her life with intention, warmth, and unwavering devotion to the people and things she loved most. For nearly ten years, she served as the Office Manager at Manale Landscaping, where her reliability, organization, and steady presence made her an invaluable part of the company. She took pride in her work and in being someone her team could depend on. Her attention to detail and steady strength left a lasting impression there, just as it did in every part of her life.
She was a devoted wife, sharing nearly 34 years of marriage with her beloved husband, Rick. Together they built a life rooted in love, commitment, and family. Through every season, she valued her marriage deeply and helped create a home filled with warmth and stability.
Outside of work, Robbin found joy in life’s simple and beautiful moments. She loved taking the boat out on the lake, soaking in the peace of the water and the warmth of the sun. She had a deep love for plants and gardening, carefully tending to her flowers and yard. She also loved spending time with her family watching football games and NASCAR races each week — cheering, laughing, and sharing those traditions brought her great happiness.
Her greatest pride and purpose were her children, whom she loved fiercely and supported wholeheartedly. Becoming a grandmother was one of the greatest blessings of her life. She loved her grandchildren more than life itself, cherishing every moment spent with them and making sure they always felt deeply loved and celebrated.
Robbin also shared a special bond with her beloved dog, Dixie. More than a pet, Dixie was her baby and constant companion. The love and comfort they shared brought her immense joy, and Dixie held a deeply important place in her heart.
She expressed love through action. She was happiest in her kitchen, cooking for others and hosting family gatherings that brought everyone together. Her home was filled with warmth, laughter, and the comfort of a home-cooked meal.
Robbin was known for always checking in on everyone. Whether it was a quick call, a thoughtful text, or remembering an important date, she made sure the people she loved felt seen and cared for. She never forgot the little things — birthdays, milestones, and small details that made each person unique. Her thoughtfulness was one of her greatest gifts.
Her legacy is one of love, devotion, and family. The care she poured into all of those that she loved will continue to live on in all of us.
Robbin is survived by her beloved husband of nearly 34 years, Richard Heupel; her children, Benjamin Avans (Tiara) and their children Ember and Jett, Jeffrey Avans (Michele), Shandi McCrann (JonMichael) and their children Peyton, Riley, and Connor, Brittany Mallon (Dennis) and their children Ansley, Lillian and Emilia, Ricky Heupel (Kristi) and their children Brianna, Chelsea, and Ryan, and Tera DiPace (Carl) and their children Brooklyn, Madison, and Trenton; along with extended family members and dear friends who will miss her deeply.
She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Marvin and Evelyn Waller; her sister, Cynthia Garmon; her brother, Marvin (Tony) Waller; and her grandson, Jameson Mallon.
Arrangements by Carolina Memorial Funeral Home, 7113 Rivers Ave., North Charleston, SC 29406.
