Mr. Robert Eugene Herndon, 83, of North Charleston, SC, entered into Eternal Rest on Monday, May 1, 2017, at a local hospital. A funeral service in his honor will be held on Wednesday, May 3, 2017, 2:00pm in the chapel of Carolina Memorial Funeral Home. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Lonnie and Emma Herndon; wife, Theresa Marie Herndon; brother, Jimmy Herndon, and sister, Vera Veno. Left behind to cherish his memory is his loving family; wife, Joyce Herndon; children, Bobby Herndon (Jennie), Sharon Henderson (Eric), Ricky Herndon (Debbie), Lesa Keller (Robert), Vicky Brown, Christy Austin (Thomas), and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
