Roberta was born on August 6, 1935 the daughter of William H. Burton and Alton Reeves Burton.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, William H. Burton Jr. and Francis A. Burton.
Roberta is also survived by loving cousins Michael and Elizabeth Reeves McCarthy, Nicholas and Victoria Reeves Ruotolo, and Harry and Rebecca Reeves Halpin.
As a young lady, Roberta enjoyed ballet dancing and throughout her life she was an avid fan of The Citadel. She also liked photography and researching family history. She spent 40 years working for the Department of the Navy in the NAVALEX Engineering Center as an Administrative Assistant.
She will be laid to rest at Carolina Memorial Gardens, 7113 Rivers Ave., North Charleston, on March 3, 2021, with a viewing beginning at 10:00 am and interment immediately following at 11:00 am. Memorials should be sent to Pinewood Place, 100 Centennial Blvd., Goose Creek, SC 29445.
