Mr. Ronald Gene Embry Sr.

Ronald was born on January 9, 1938 to the late Wiley Buck Embry and Emiline Alice (Tomlinson) Embry in Alexandra, Indiana.

He is survived by his wife: Shirley (Howard) Embry, his brother: Wayne Embry, His children: Ronald “Gene” Embry, Jr. (Janet), Roger Embry (Maria Parker), Russell Embry (Matri) and Melinda Lewis. His 8 grandchildren: Emily Embry, Katie Bailey, Chris Embry, R. J. Embry, Amburr Phillips, Ashley Robinson, Ryan Embry and Heather Lewis. His 17 great grandchildren: Madison Bailey, Judah Bailey, Cameron Frost, Parker Embry, Adaline Embry, Riley Phillips, Wyatt Phillips, Derrick Robinson, Lilyahna Robinson, Axel Embry, Rozalynn Embry, Aubree Simms, Kamry Young and Kamryn Young.

He is preceded in death by his sisters: June Boze, Ramona Roberts; his brother: Wiley Embry, Jr. and a grandchild: Edward Lewis.

A Visitation will be held on July 19, 2021 from 11:30am to 12:30pm, at Carolina Memorial Funerals & Cremation, 7113 Rivers Ave., North Charleston, SC. The Celebration of Life will follow in the Chapel from 12:30pm to 1:30pm. The Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Gardens.
