Ronald Parks

Ronald Parks, age 77, of Hanahan, South Carolina passed away on Wednesday, July 17, 2024 surrounded by family. He was born on September 25, 1946 to Beldon Parks and Enned Alice Howe in Albany, Missouri. He is survived by his wife Sandra, two daughters, Michelle (son -in law Larry Israel) and Rhonda ( son-in-law Harold Bird ). Also survived by four grandchildren, Kimberly, Rachel, Jacob, Kyle and one brother Larry Parks.

He is preceded in death by his two sisters, Maryle and Carol.

Ronald served in the United States Navy from 1964 to 1994 and retired with a rank of Master Chief. He was a member of the First Emmanuel Baptist in Summerville and was a deacon, also a member with the Gideons which he loved doing.

He received a BS Degree from Southern Illinois University.

A visitation will be held at the First Emmanuel Baptist Church, 10665 Dorchester Road, Summerville on Saturday, July 27, 2024 at 10 am until 11 am with the start of the Life Well Celebrated Service. Burial will follow the church religious service at Carolina Memorial Gardens, 7113 Rivers Ave. North Charleston with US Navy Honors.
