Rosemary M Thompson

Rose Mary Matthews Thompson, the daughter of the late Johnny and Theresa Matthews. Rose Mary was born on June 24, 1950 in North Charleston, SC. She received her early education at Charleston public schools and Palmer Technical community college. Rose was a Christian and strongly believed in God, she was added to the Church of Christ February 13, 1972.

In her earlier years she traveled the world and visited different countries. She joyfully considered Cecil Matthews as her child/her son who she helped raise under guardianship and through him she has 5 grandchildren. She leaves behind 3 sisters, 3 brothers, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Rose Mary would be remembered for her contagious laugh, smile, wisdom, caring ways, and FASHION! She enjoyed having a good simple conversation and reminiscing about good times with her parents. She also enjoyed sharing the Word and her knowledge of the Bible. She will be missed and now will be eternally protected and taken care of by the High Almighty Father who art in Heaven.
