Shirley was born in Fresno, California on December 16, 1952, and lived in Charleston for 40 years. Her favorite thing in the world was being a grandmother.
Shirley is survived by her daughter, Te’Leisha Liston and son-in-law Jeffrey Liston; her granddaughters, Tay’Len Liston, Jocelyn Liston and Ashley Coy, Grandson Terry Jernigan. And 10 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Marvin Jernigan.
