

Sid was born on September 3, 1949, in Brooklyn, New York, to the late Seymour Gordon and Jess Killian Gordon.
He earned a bachelor’s degree in business and went on to build a successful career in the jewelry and automotive sales industries. Known for his strong work ethic and personable nature, Sid formed lasting relationships with colleagues and customers alike.
Sid was a proud member of the Elks Lodge and had a lifelong passion for automobiles. He was highly knowledgeable about cars and found great joy in sharing that enthusiasm with others. In his leisure time, he loved playing cards, traveling, and attending racing events, especially the annual Coke Zero Sugar 400 at Daytona International Speedway.
Sid will be remembered for his warmth, humor, and the deep love he had for his family and friends.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 43 years, Roberta Gordon; his brother, Lawrence Gordon of Ellicott, Maryland; his sister, Naomi Crow of Syosset, New York; and his cherished nieces and nephews, Marc Gordon, Lauren Brisbaji, Gordon Gregory Crow, Michael Crow, and Nancy Crow.
The family extends special appreciation to his dear friends James Lee, and Mary and Jim, Hanson, Frank and Dottie Celeste, for their continued support and valued friendship.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 26, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home, 7113 Rivers Avenue, North Charleston, South Carolina 29406.
