Sidney was born on May 31, 1941 to Sidney and Willie Mae Taylor in Sylvania, Georgia.
Sidney met his wife, Marcia Ruth Miller, in 2003. They were happily married for 17 years.
He is survived by his wife Marcia of Ladson, SC; his step-children Kathy and Mark Simmons of Summerville, and Michael Gentile of Ridgeville; his grandchildren Justin (Stephanie), Sierrah (Dylan), Katie (Justin), Jeffrey and Serenity; and one great-grandchild Rylee-Ann Ruley.
Sidney loved to cook and enjoyed taking care of Marcia. He was passionate about spending time with family and never met a stranger.
A life celebrated service at Carolina memorial funeral home chapel will occur on Wednesday November 3rd at 11:00 AM. 7113 Rivers Avenue North Charleston, South Carolina 29406.
