

Terri Marie Zey Hallman, 64, of North Charleston, SC joined the Lord on July 8, 2025, and was welcomed by those who predeceased her including her parents, Florian Phillip Zey and Vennie Edith Zey Groves, her brothers; Mark Zey, Larry Zey, David Zey and Tommy Zey; her sister, Janice Zey Classen and her nieces, Darleene Zey and Keri Roberson.
Terri was born on October 11,1960 in Charleston, SC. She graduated from Saint Andrews Parish High School. While in high school, she owned 2 different horses and rode in horse shows. During her career she graduated top of her class in the electronics apprenticeship program at the Charleston shipyard and traveled throughout the country and internationally installing air traffic control equipment until she lost her eyesight.
Terri was known for her sharp wit and humor, often composed memorable poems for family and friends, and was celebrated for teaching herself skills and crafts like crocheting after becoming blind. Terri loved fishing, music, and adored her Alexa which provided listening to books, getting answers to her many questions, playing brain teaser games and ordering from Amazon.
Terri is survived by her son, Keith Ryan Hallman of Chapin, SC, her sisters Deborah Zey Roberson of Chesapeake, VA and Theresa with her husband Craig Ramsey of Charleston, SC, cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
A service will be held at Charleston Memorial Funeral Home, 7113 Rivers Avenue, Charleston, SC on Sunday, July 13, 2025. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
