Thomas Carl Barfield, “Old Man” age 66, of Summerville SC, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, January 3, 2015 at a local hospital. He was born in Charleston, SC on May 26, 1948 to the late Woodrow Wilson and Myrtle Clark Barfield. He was employed by Alcoa and retired from the Company to become a full time Granddaddy. He loved his family and never met a stranger. He served his country in the United States Army and was a member of the American Legion. Thomas is survived by his wife: Donna Coulter Barfield of Summerville SC; son: Ray (Annette) Barfield of Summerville; grandchildren: Sam, TC, Zach, and Zoey; 5 great grandchildren; brothers; James, Johnny, and Stevie Barfield, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son: Thomas Carl Barfield II.
