Thomas A. Williamson

He was born September 3, 1980 to Kerry and Donna Williamson in North Charleston, SC.

Thomas has one of the biggest hearts and willingness to help anyone in need. Thomas attended Bishop England High School 9th grade through 11th grade. He graduated from North Charleston High School in 1998. Thomas comes from a long line of being born 20 years apart. His great great grandmother, Josephine was born 1900; his great grandmother, Eleanor was born in 1920; his grandmother, Linda was born in 1940 and his father, Kerry was born in 1960. Thomas loved his nephews and nieces as if they were his own and will be a big loss for them. Thomas also was a huge animal lover. He had a dog named Beanie, who was his sidekick and he loved very much.

Thomas was a self-taught chef and loved cooking. He later switch to a stage hand for the union and loved his work. He also loved his work family. Thomas loved history and as a young boy would sit with Grandpa Jack and talk history. Thomas was older than his age when it came knowledge because he was always yearning to learn more.

Thomas is survived by: his parents, Kerry and Donna Williamson; his brothers, Christopher Williamson, Sr.(Jamie), Brandon Williamson (Tiarra); his nieces and nephews, Christopher , Jr., Kayleigh, Kinsley, Jackson and Adelind “Addy” Williamson; also, Kayden McDonald and Elouise Parker. His Aunts and Uncles, Deborah Godfrey Orr, Denise Godfrey Lomax Hudson (Stephen), Kenneth Williamson (Mary) and many cousins.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, John H. “Jack” and Linda Williamson; Laura Arlene Godrey Lomax and Gary S. Godfrey. His great grandparents; Frank and Eleanor Salmonsen, David Sr. and Corine Williamson, Frank and Bessie Godfrey, Laura McGorty and William McGorty.

A Visitation will held Saturday October 9, 2021 from 3:00 – 5:00 PM at Carolina Memorial Funerals & Cremation, 7113 Rivers Ave., North Charleston, SC 29406.
