Virginia L. Dangerfield Hudson entered into eternal rest on Sunday, March 4, 2018 in Charleston, SC. She was born April 17, 1934 to the late, Cornelius and Catherine Dangerfield. She was a very active member of her church, Remount Baptist Church in North Charleston, SC, where she taught Sunday school for many years and had a huge impact on many children's lives. She had an infectious laugh and loved the Lord and her family. She is survived by her daughters, Dianne Doss of Goose Creek, Alice Almond (Mark) of Charleston, her son Richard Hudson (Kathy) of Hanahan, her granddaughters, Sarah Almond of Arkansas and Tabby Smith (Duane Darnell) of Hanahan, great-grandson, Zachary Darnell of Hanahan, and many nieces and nephews. Virginia is preceded in death by her husband Rufus Hudson, her son in law, Wayne Doss, her three sisters, Catherine Dallas, Margaret Calderwood, and Patricia Poston, and her brother, Neil Dangerfield. A Celebration of Life for Virginia will be held Wednesday March 7, 2018 at Remount Baptist Church, 1520 Remount Road, North Charleston, SC 29406. The family will receive friends and family from 10:30 AM-11:30 AM, with the Celebration of Life to follow. Immediately following the Celebration of Life a burial service will be held at Carolina Memorial Park Cemetery, 7113 Rivers Ave, North Charleston, SC 29406. Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to Remount Baptist Church. Arrangements entrusted to CAROLINA MEMORIAL FUNERALS AND CREMATION.
