Vivian D. Peeples-Banks was born on June 25, 1954 to Clarence and Idella Peeples in Leesburg, FL. After graduating from Leesburg Senior High School/Carver Heights High School in 1972. Vivian went on to obtain a degree as a Paralegal Trident Technical College. Vivian also went on to become an entrepreneur and own several businesses, which included B and J Specialties, mobile notary service, and Vivian’s Floral Gifts and Baskets.
In 1973, she met Walter L. Banks Sr., and they wed in 1974, going on to have 3 beautiful children, Shajuana Jenkins, Natasha Boiro, and Walter Banks Jr.
When Vivian had Shajuana, she decided to dedicate her life to being not just a great wife and mother, but to being everything her family needed. Vivian was a friend, a confidant, and she was involved in the everyday life of her family. Vivian excelled at supporting her husband and children through the many passions and difficulties of their lives. She made it her mission to improve the lives of others.
Vivian was not only a passionate wife, mother, and a business woman, but she was an amazing, passionate grandmother to all of her grand kids. Vivian loved life and made it a point to, live life and always had a smile to share with everyone. Vivian did not meet a stranger she was a friend to everyone who crossed her path.
When Vivian was at home, she could be found making beautiful floral pieces, working to make sure she was up on current events, watching the news, laughing and talking with her family, going fishing with Walter Sr. and just enjoying life every day. We will miss her greatly.
