William Burnice Thigpen Jr.

William B. Thigpen, Jr., 53, of North Charleston passed away on October 8, 2014. William was born on July 12, 1961 to William Thigpen, Sr. and Kathaleen C. Thigpen in Vidila, GA. He was a master carpenter for over 30 years. He loved fishing, camping, country music and rock music. He is survived by his wife, Cyndie Thigpen; five children, William Thigpen, III (Emily), Kevin Thigpen (Samantha), Breanna Thigpen, Dustin Thigpen, Haylee Thigpen; two brothers, Randy (Teresa) and Paul Thigpen; two sisters, Debbie McDowell and Kellia Adams (Carson); five grandchildren, Sullivan Yocum, Gabriel, Colten, Addyson Thigpen, Tobias Thigpen and one on the way. He is also survived by his father, William Thigpen, Sr. and his step-mother, Cheryl Thigpen. He was preceded in death by his mother Kathaleen Thigpen and his cousin, George Baker. Visitation will take place on Saturday, October 11, 2014 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. in Carolina Memorial Funeral Home. The funeral service will take place on Sunday, October 12, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in Carolina Memorial Chapel.
