September 20th, 1988-October 19th 2023
On Thursday October 19th the world lost an angel here on earth. Angela Corza, A beloved Mother, daughter, sister, and amazing friend, suddenly but peacefully left this plane of existence in her family home at the age of 35. She is survived by Her son Zaire Bailey, Her mother and father Hector and Irma corza, Her many sisters Sarah, Carmen, and Melody Corza and her little brother Diego Corza along with a huge extended family and big group of friends who all adored Angela. Angela Corza was born in Monterey Park, California on September 20th 1988 to Hector Corza and Irma Mitre Corza. From the span of her first 12 years of life, she gained 3 little sisters and a brother whom she helped raised as if they were her own children. She attended the local schools of Monterey Vista, Garvey Middle school, and attending Mark Keppel high school as a teen. From when she was a child and growing into her adulthood her passions always involved music and acting. From being in multiple talent shows, to attending Mt. Sac in adulthood and participating in their forensic program and drama classes, Angela was dedicated to learning the art of acting and also studying child development. Her huge heart was filled with love for children. She was always the mother figure who was there for you when you needed her. Later in life She gave birth to her first and only son Zaire Bailey. Her son was her whole world, providing everything to him. And also presenting the first grandson to her parents. He was her prized jewel. Angela later found with her set skills of acting and just being an amazing interactive person she persuaded the showbiz of Comedy. Creating and taking the name as La Smilf (Single Mom Id like… To Forget) She performed her act all over southern California and Arizona opening up for Big Amazing acts and making funny friends along the way. Her work ethic going into the Comedy scene was impeccable, from constantly performing, gaining thousands of likes and tons of follows, landing skits on Buzzfeed, and constantly posting her funny self, insuring you knew who La Smilf was. Our hearts are shattered by the loss of Angela Corza. Her family now has an empty hole in their hearts. We will never forget the Angel of a woman Angela Corza was. Her Shine and Spirit will forever be in every laugh, memory, and every note of music. She is forever our Guardian Angel.
VIVA LA SMILF!
