Anthony Puente Jr., age 66, was born January 24, 1960, at Bergstrom Air Force Base in Austin, Texas, and passed away September 16, 2026. A man of steady faith and deep devotion, Anthony lived with purpose—meeting each season of life with quiet courage, a generous spirit, and a warmth that made him truly beloved by those who knew him. He resided in North Hollywood, California.
Strong foundations and determined effort shaped Anthony’s early years. He attended Saint Andrews Catholic School for grammar and middle school, then went on to LaSalle High School, where he ran on the cross-country team. In 1978, he attended Loyola Marymount University and earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration—an achievement that reflected discipline and a lifelong commitment to building a meaningful life through hard work and perseverance.
Never content to stop learning, Anthony continued his education by obtaining a paralegal degree at Pasadena City College and taking multiple courses at West Los Angeles School of Law. He devoted 44 years of loyal service to his work at Lacquer, Urban Clifford and Hodge, where his consistency, wisdom, and steadfast work ethic were evident to all who relied on him.
Anthony’s love story was rooted in friendship and time. He met his future wife at LMU, and they dated off and on for several years before marrying in 1996. Together, they welcomed a beautiful daughter, Natalie, now 22, who brought him immense pride and joy. In the life he built with his family, Anthony’s kindness showed itself not only in what he provided, but in the steady presence he offered—faithful, devoted, and deeply caring.
Anthony also knew how to live with spirit and joy. Sports were part of his life—hockey, baseball, and basketball games held his attention and enthusiasm. He enjoyed working out and lifting weights, and he loved concerts. His interests were as lively as they were distinctive: building, funny cars, collecting comic books, and watching classic horror movies. Halloween was his favorite holiday, and he embraced it fully—dressing up, buying horror masks, decorating the house, giving out candy, and delighting in the playful thrill of scaring the kids, something he enjoyed immensely. He also loved going to the drag races, and his music appreciation was wide-ranging, reflected in a CD collection that spanned jazz, rock, and Latin salsa. Through it all, Anthony’s humor and adventurous streak brought lightness and energy to the everyday, while his generous heart made room for others to feel welcomed and remembered.
