Christopher Freeman’s Life
Chris was a God caring man who loved his children, family members, friends and others with all of his heart. Foremost, he loved God. Born November 27, 1965 and raised in Boston, MA he overcame a lot of adversity and in his early twenties, he decided to bring his talents to Los Angeles, CA. While figuring out his life here with his growing family he always had time to listen, pray, and teach people as was evident by his continuous unselfish work while attending church. Although church was always a part of his life, he settled on Church on the Way and this was his introduction into one of the things he loved doing most, teaching. After 10+ years at that church and teaching Sunday school, he found a new home at Shephard of the Hills in Porter Ranch where he continued teaching and became an usher. Chris had many chapters in his life but this last one seemed to be the best one yet. He had his dream job teaching mathematics at Century Community Charter Shool, purchased his first home with his fiancé and just graduated with his masters this year. Chris was the manifestation of what a person’s life could be after fully surrendering to the Lord’s plan and it showed everyday with the big smile and energetic soul. May we remember him as the silly, goofy, smart, caring, loud, loving, prankster he was, and the ways he positively affected all of our lives.
Achievements are so many. What didn’t Chris do? Acting and modelling credits. He worked as an accountant for several years, a stay at home mom. He coached about every sport he knew how to play: little league, basketball, softball, football, baseball and track. And after realizing kids and teaching was his passion he returned to college and began the journey to become a teacher. He received a Master of Arts degree in teaching from Liberty University this year. Accomplishing his dream. He received certificates and recognition in his new career and impacted someone people in such little time.
