Consuelo Virginia Wesby

Consuelo Virginia Wesby, known to many as "Miss Connie" passed away on July 1, 2019 at her home in Woodland Hills, she was 97 years old. Consuelo was born on August 24, 1921 in Belize City, Belize, she was the daughter of Winifred Peters and Walter Wesby. She left Belize in 1964, lived in New York then moved to California.

Consuelo was a kind and giving person with a strong and feisty spirit. She enjoyed reading and would spend hours browsing through bookstores. She loved going to museums, parks, horse races and visiting her friends. Consuelo loved Jesus and read her Bible everyday. She believed that a daily dose of prayers, music, laughter and dancing kept you happy and youthful. Her bright light will be missed by her family and friends.

Consuelo Virginia Wesby survived by her three daughters, Rose Mayfield, Nelida Singerman, Jacqueline McCrorey. Sister Oona Wesby, four Grandchildren, Nicole Leslie, Wesley Singerman, Cameron McCrorey,Tyler McCrorey, four great Grandchildren, Gia, Jasmine, Micah and Titus.

Nieces Betty Perera, Peggy Ainsworth, nephews Hugh Fuller, Nigel Liu, Alden Liu, Grandnieces Brittney, Brianna, Kari, Kayla, grandnephews Bruce, Noah, FJ, other family members and a host of loving friends.

A funeral service for Consuelo will be held Saturday, July 20, 2019 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at Pierce Brothers Valhalla, 10621 Victory Blvd, North Hollywood, CA 91606. A burial will occur Saturday, July 20, 2019 at 2:30 PM. A graveside service will occur Saturday, July 20, 2019 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM, 10621 Victory Blvd, North Hollywood, CA 91606.

Repast-Celebration of Life will be held at 22452 Burbank Blvd. Woodland Hills following services.
