Drake Webb Holland

Drake Webb Holland, age 17, beloved son of Eugene R. Holland and Joni Lyn Gillis-Holland; best friend and loving brother of Rick Holland; died due to a tragic accident on December 22, 2009. Drake was born on April 2, 1992 and lived his life in Burbank, California. He was a graduate of McKinley Elementary School, Jordan Middle School, and was a senior, working hard and successfully towards graduation at John Burroughs High School. He was member of his high school's Cross Country Team as a senior. Drake was proud of applying on his own and being hired for his first after-school job. His great joy was riding his bicycle with his brother and his friends, and dirt bike riding with his brother and his Uncle James Rathbun, also of the home.Drake was preceded in death by his friend and cousin Kegan Hayes in 2009 and by his great-grandparents (Webb) who were an important part of his life until their death in 2004. He is survived by his parents, brother, and close loving extended family of maternal and paternal grandparents, 9 uncles and aunts, and 28 cousins.Drake was always smiling; it was hard not to smile with him.
