I just learned of Elaine's passing.  Elaine has been one of my Avon cusomers since 2009.  I am in disbelief.  As others mentioned, she was a very nice, sweet person.  We had an understanding, we knew exactly where to meet each to exchange product and payment. I am deeply saddened, just saddened, especially since I am just finding out and I work on campus.

Trying to find the words to say is very difficult for me. Elaine had a heart of gold. Always thoughtful, caring and willing to help in any way she could. That was the kind of the person she was. She was a loving mom and wife. Rick & Nicole, my heart and prayers goes out to you as well as her mother, sisters and brothers. She truly will be missed. Rest in Peace my Dear Friend and thanks for the many years we worked together & being the friend you were. Much love!!!

We will all miss Elaine!  She was an integral part of our Admissions and Records family.  She was always willing to help where needed, but never wanted any recognition. I was touched by her kindness when my husband was in the hospital.  She went out of her way to drive to my home and personally drop off a card from the office. I know she loved her family dearly.  Her face would always light up when she spoke of Nicole and Rick.  Your family will be in my prayers.

I have very fond memories of Elaine. Having worked with her for the better part of three decades at California State University, Northrige, I knew her as a devoted mother and responible co-worker who enjoyed helping students. It saddens me very much and I feel heartache for you Nicole & Rick.

Elaine Helms will always be remembered for her wit, spunk and her dedication to others. She will be truly missed. She was an amazing person who was always willing to lend a helping hand. My sympathy goes out to her family.

 I will remember Elaine with fond memories.  I enjoyed working with her for over 20 years.  She was a great desk partner to have, and willing to share her knowledge with me when I just didn't get it.  Nicole my prayers go out to you and your dad at this time.  Sharyn Bishop  Canyonville, Or

Thinking of all of my time with Elaine in A&R at CSUN brings a smile to my face.. She always looked out for me and helped me when I was new to the office. She was always genuinely interested in what was going on with my family and personal life and I was so appreciative of that. Her sense of humor was one-of-a-kind and always brightened up my days! Her love for her family was so strong and I always knew that her husband and daughter were the most important people in her life. Elaine's memory will live on here at CSUN & through her loved ones forever.

I love you Mom. I am going to miss you every day of my life. You were an amazing person and loved me unconditionally. You will always be with me. xoxo
