Emma was born January 9,1935 in Grant county, New Mexico, a daughter of the late Rosendo and Francisca (Rodriquez) Aguilar. She was a retired custodian from LAUSD. In addition to her parents, Emma was preceded in death by her son, Robert Maldonado, and sisters Leonarda Torres of Bayard, New Mexico, Lydia Aguilar of Tujunga, California, brothers Ernesto Aguilar of Tujunga, California and Eliseo Aguilar of Bayard, New Mexico. She is survived by one sister Rosie ( Charles) Frazier of Palmdale, California and Grandson Ernesto Maldonado of Tucson, Arizona. She had numerous nieces and nephews.
Emma enjoyed being around friends and family, smiling, laughing and having fun. Emma always claimed that family came first in her heart.
