I am saddened to  learn he passed away 3 years ago,my condolences to his brothers,son and daughters,I knew Fred and even stayed in his home for awhile when I used to date his son Lawrence,he adored his grandson Nick but my fondest memory was how he defended me on a couple of occasions and that was endearing and he also taught me how to make AIM (American Indian Movement) T-shirts in his garage.,RIP Fred.
