Oxford, NC - Mrs. Hazel O. Shank, 91, died Thursday, November 22, 2012 at home.
Born on November 28,1920 in Rowan County. She was the daughter of the late Espy & Beulah Owens. Proceeded in death by Morrie Shank (husband), Carolyn Shedrick (daughter), five sisters and one brother.
Survivors are a son, C.J. Sutton of Michigan, daughters, Joyce Ellickson of Arizona & Paulette Stamper of North Carolina, sisters, Evelyn Karriker of Mooresville & Hilda Wood of Kannapolis, a brother, Jack Owens of Mooresville, five grandchildren & eight great-grandchildren.
Graveside service was at Pierce Brothers Valhalla Memorial Park on November 30, 2012.
