Jeffrey Maurice Mathis

Jeffrey M. Mathis, of Burbank, was granted his angel wings on July 11, 2016. Jeff passed away after a long, courageous battle with cancer.

Jeff was born on July 2, 1957 to parents, Dallas Mathis and Loretta (Evans). Jeff was the first born of four children.

He attended John Burroughs High School in Burbank, California and graduated in 1975.

He enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He enjoyed motorcycle riding, listening to good music and was always up for a good game of Cribbage.

Jeff is survived by his loving mother, Loretta Fisher and her spouse, Ken Fisher of Burbank; brother, David Mathis; sister, Brenda Savery and her spouse, Mark Savery; son, Adam Johnson; daughter, Dakota Mathis; grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Dallas Mathis and brother, Patrick Mathis.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by Pierce Brothers Valhalla in North Hollywood, CA. Memorial services will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, July 18, 2016 at Pierce Brothers Valhalla Memorial Park, 10621 Victory Blvd, North Hollywood, CA 91606; A Celebration of Life will follow at the Burbank Elks Lodge #1497, 2232 N. Hollywood Way Burbank, CA 91505
