Juan Carlos Chon passed away on Sunday, April 23, 2023, in his home in Fontana, California. He was 52 years old when Stage 4 Bone Cancer ultimately took his life. He is survived by his wife of 26 years, their two children, his eldest son and his grandson, and his eight siblings.
Juan Carlos was born in Playas de Rosarito, Baja California, Mexico. He was raised by his parents in Culiacan, Sinaloa, with his brothers and sisters. Life wasn’t always easy, but they found a way.
Juan Carlos found a relationship with God in this life, and he became a Christian, applying His teachings to his life and relationships. Because of his faith, he knew that in death he would be reunited with his loved ones who had passed before him, and he would see all who come after one day as well. We know he is no longer suffering and is at peace reunited with his mom, his dad, and is Heavenly Father.
In life, Juan Carlos lived. He had a hunger for life that was inspiring and admirable. He lived life. Always laughing and cracking jokes, always smiling and extending a helpful hand. He wasn't afraid to try something even if it didn't work out. He found a way. Juan Carlos was able to realize his dream of owning his own mechanic shop with his brother, a few years ago. He thanked God for his life, and his blessings even when times became hard.
He will be missed greatly, by all who knew and loved him. Hasta que nos volveremos aver.
Rest In Peace Always, Brother, Husband, Father, Friend.
