Dear TC, Hayley and Megan,
I was so shocked and sad to hear the news of Katie's illness and passing. I am so blessed that Katie was someone who came into my life thanks in part to Mark Goodson.  She was someone that I so respected and so enjoyed.  She was so special, so smart and her wit could not be matched.  She was so funny, such a good mother, who loved her family, her home, her politics, her cooking, her dogs.  My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.  Her spirit will always be with all of us who knew her.

If only the time I've spent face-to-face with Katie counted, it could be said that she was a small part of my life.  This is not true, though, because of who she was and the impact she had on me. Katie earned a huge place in my heart and I feel I have lost a part of my soul with her passing. Knowing how I feel, I can't begin to understand the magnitude of your loss. Words fail, so I can only say that I will honor Katie's life in my memories and will always be filled with gratitude that she blessed my life. Much love to all of you.

We can't fill Katie's space because her soul is much bigger than life!  But we can carry on the Princess Tradition in her name and have good times and take care of TC and the young women who will forever be her daughters.  You are part of us forever linked by Katie's spirit.

My heart aches for you and all of the family and friends who loved Katie. She was far too young and full of life to leave us. Her enthusiastic approach to parenting, marriage,  friendship, music, politics, gardening, and any new adventures, is what I admired most and will always remember about her. Let's face it: she was a ROCK STAR in her way. May her love for you and her giving spirit give you comfort and guide your future at this painful time and always.

Dear TC, Hayley & Meghan - My sympathies to you all during this very difficult time.  Katie was one of the most vivacious and gracious people I have met.  I consider myself very lucky to have known her for the past 13 years.  I will treasure the time I was able to spend with her during my visits to California.  She will be remembered and missed always.  Love and Peace to you all.
