February 6, 1971 – September 13, 2026
Laura Susana Soledad Pensamiento was born in El Salvador and moved to Los Angeles at the age of nine. Throughout her life, she was guided by a quiet devotion to the people and living things she loved. She gave of herself generously and without hesitation, always finding meaningful ways to care for, help, and support others.
Laura will be remembered for her kind and generous heart, her courage and her creativity. She had a way of showing her love not only through words, but through the countless everyday acts of kindness and care that touched the lives of those around her.
Her greatest pride and joy were her sons, Armando and Victor Daniel Lopez, who were at the heart of her life and whom she loved deeply.
She will also be lovingly remembered by her parents, Susana and Roberto Pensamiento; her brother, Mauricio, and sister-in-law, Brenda; Paul and sister-in-law, Edith; and her beloved nieces and nephews, Marcella, Frida, Lucca, Talisa, Camila, and Max.
Laura had a deep and lasting love for animals and nature. The compassion she showed toward them reflected the same tenderness and care she extended to the people in her life. She found happiness in music, crafts, and in the simple satisfaction of building, creating, and fixing things with her own hands.
She leaves behind a legacy of love expressed through kindness, compassion, creativity, and quiet acts of generosity. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by those who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.
Her love, her gentle spirit, and her care for others will remain in the hearts of her family and friends, and in the beauty of the natural world she cherished so dearly.
A Visitation will be held at Pierce Brothers Valhalla, 10621 Victory Blvd, North Hollywood, California 91606, on October 1, 2026, from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
