Liudmila Belakhvostsik, age 88, passed away peacefully on February 4, 2026. Born on June 12, 1937, in Belarus, Liudmila later made her home in Van Nuys, California, where she built a life defined by creativity, dedication, and love for her family.
For more than 40 years, Liudmila served as a creative director for a clothing company, bringing artistry, vision, and elegance to her work. Her passion for design and her strong work ethic left a lasting impression on colleagues and friends alike. She took great pride in her career and in the beauty she helped bring into the world through fashion.
Above all, Liudmila cherished her role as a mother. She is survived by her beloved daughter, who was the center of her life and her greatest joy.
A funeral service will be held on February 14, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Pierce Brothers Valhalla Chapel, 10621 Victory Blvd, North Hollywood, CA 91606.
Interment will follow at 11:30 a.m. at Pierce Brothers Valhalla Memorial Park, located at the same address.
Liudmila will be remembered for her creativity, strength, grace, and the deep love she had for her family. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
