Manuela was a wonderful person who touched the lives of those around her. Beyond just being a wife, a daughter, a mother, a grandmother, and a great-grandmother, she was also a mentor, a teacher, a counselor, a shoulder to lean on, and a best friend. There was nothing you could do or say that she wouldn't find the words to get you through it. She was quick to quote scripture, pray with you and remind you to have faith and to live according to God's will. When one of the kids were struggling in school, they called grandma and she would do research and type out her own version and put it into a way that she could teach them to make them understand. She created her own lesson plans and study guides to make sure they were prepared and confident in what they were struggling in. When they wanted to learn Spanish, she created engaging material that went in line with how she thought they would best learn the new language. When they had interest in playing the piano, she hand drew music sheets with descriptions and pictures that helped them learn a new instrument. She went above and beyond every single time because she loved everyone unconditionally and she wanted to give everything she could give, by all means necessary, because that is who she was. She was selfless and wanted the best for everyone. Above all else she was a child of the Lord and made it her mission to bring so many to Christ, and she did! Amen!
