Our beloved Maria Luisa Ramos passed away on November 28, 2025 leaving behind a family who will forever miss her warmth, her strength, and her unforgettable spirit.
Born on May 26, 1933, in Aguascalientes, Mexico, Maria Luisa lived a long, full life that took her from her childhood home to Chihuahua, Mexico where she and her husband, José, raised sixteen children. Later in life, she moved to the U.S where she made a home for nearly 40 years.
Maria Luisa found joy in the simplest moments: her morning coffee by the TV, watching her garden from the window, a crisp cold coke, or simply eating a chocolate she had sneaked into her pocket.
Those that knew her knew she had a special way of lighting up a room with her incredible sass, humor, and vibrant personality. Family parties were where she truly came alive. She was the one singing, dancing, and filling every space with joy.
Her life was the fruit of her labor. All the heartache, tireless work, and sacrifices she carried were finally behind her as she grew older. Life may have been hard, but she was stronger.
Even though she blessed us with many beautiful years, it will never feel like enough. She was our matriarch, and the heart of our family. We will always wish for more time, but we find comfort in knowing she is now with God and reunited with her parents, husband, and her children who went before her.
She was a once-in-a-lifetime woman, and we feel so honored God chose us to be her children.
Her love will remain with us for the rest of our lives.
