Mr. Olusegun Faith Izokun

Olusegun Faith Jesurose Izokun was born on June 4th 1974. He was the last of 5 siblings and he is of mixed Nigerian tribal parentage – Ishan and Yoruba.He often wondered what his dad was thinking when he named him Faith! He also didn't like his Ishan name so he settled for his Yoruba name Olusegun.Faith attended Victory Primary School and Edo College in Benin-City then proceeded to Ambrose Alli University in Ekpoma, Edo State where he graduated with a Bachelors degree in Geography & Regional Planning in 1998.He immigrated to Los Angeles in 2000 after he won the Green card lottery.On arrival here, he got a job at WellPoint Pharmacy Management at Woodland Hills and later moved on to Health Net also in Woodland Hills, where he worked until his death. He recently completed a part-time MBA program at the Keller Graduate School of Management of Devry University. Seun and Faith got married in Ibadan, Nigeria on December 10th 2005 and she joined him in Los Angeles in May 2007. She was his sweetheart who he never stopped loving after he left for Los Angeles in 2000.Faith was rare gem. He was fiercely loyal to his family, loving and very affectionate. He was his Mum's special baby.Faith is survived by his loving wife and friend Oluwaseun Izokun, mother, brother, sisters, niece, nephew and in-laws.We pray he finds peace with the Lord and I'm happy to say that he re-dedicated his life to God before he died. This funeral is a celebration of his short life and January 3rd 2008 is basically his birthday into eternal life. Olusegun Faith Izokun died on January 3, 2008. He was laid to rest at Pierce Brothers Valhalla in North Hollywood, CA.
