Dad Oscar was always so quiet but so welcoming.  He and Mama Noemy treated our extended family as part of their own.

I know what a big heart he had and how proud of his family he was.  The grandchildren (Delaney, Kyle, Jojo and Max) especially.

I know that now is a time of sadness, but all I see is him smiling, knowing he did well.  In times of sadness please remember the joy he brought to our lives and how you are his legacy.

Uncle Oscar was eternally supportive of his daughters and several grandchildren. He was also supportive of all his relatives who came to the US after him. He and Aunt Emmy were my first stop when I visited the US prior to migrating to Canada. He was helpful, a good listener, always had a good advice to anything you ask for, and encouraged me to go for what I wanted. I consider our relationship very close and I never fail to visit him when I’m in California. He will always be my favorite uncle.
