Happy Birthday Dad - I love you so much

John Watson

July 21, 2012

AnnMarie, I only met your dad one time in the parking lot at Buyers Home Warranty, and he went out of his way to show off his truck to me, and I thought that was so special. Dad's are special and you are so lucky that your dad made people around him feel extra special. Your dad is in heaven driving his truck and enjoying life.Drive careful Roberto!

Dear Tina, Robert & Jennifer, Jimmy, AnaMarie & David, and extended family:

Bob was a very good neighbor and friend. I always remember the times that we went to Carpenteria Beach to go camping, and the desert to go motorcycle riding. I always liked to kid with him about my limited ability to speak Spanish and I will always remember him saying to me, "Como como como como como como." I also remember when we lost Jake and always fondly remember thinking about how he looked when he was lifting up the trailer hitch and found him. I also remember kidding him about not liking chicken and when I saw him last Thanksgiving I asked him if it was the "Dia de Pollo" and remember his familiar sneer. I will miss him a lot. Love, Shon

Dear Tina, Robert, Jimmy and AnaMarie & David and extended family

I was so lucky to have Bob as my neighbor and friend for all these many years. No one ever loved his wife and family more than Bob. And no one ever loved her husband more than Tina. Bob could always tell a story and make you laugh. He was someone I could always count on if I needed help, like when someone was banging on my door at 3am. Instead of calling the police I called Bob and he got dressed and came over with a baseball bat for protection. He was great with kids and loved mine and also loved my grandkids and they loved him. There will never be another person to replace Bob in our hearts. He will be missed always. But when we think of him, we will smile and remember the good times. God has a new angel in Heaven. Love, Kittie

To the Alderete Family:

In this difficult time in your lives, may you find comfort in God's Word, the Bible. James 4:8 encourages; "Draw close to God, and he will draw close to you."

My condolences,
SJB.
