Met Ron when he started dating my long time friend Nancy. They were the greatest together. Full of love, fun and respect for each other. They had two beautiful daughters, who I am still in touch with. After Nancy passed away, thru the years Ron and I would exchange holiday cards and I would call him just to see how he was doing. He will be missed by all that knew him, including me.

Debbie and I have been friends since we were 10. I was often at her house. Remember one time coming in to find Ron sleeping sitting up in a chair with his socks hanging out of his shirt pockets. He was a silly guy.

We sure miss you, Dad, and was not quite ready for this yet! We know you are with mom and not suffering from pain anymore - now you can go walking all you want! Please tell everyone hello for us and that we know you're all with us down on Earth - we toast to you every night! And, rest assured, Jingle Howard is now part of the Mongeli Family!

We love you!!!! XOXOXOXOXO

Tammie

Biography

On Tuesday, July 30th, Nancy came to Ron early in the day to let him know, that after 17 years apart, it was time for him to join her once again. Hence, they drove their motor home to the campground paradise in the sky, where they will spend eternity together driving classic cars, square dancing, sipping cocktails and enjoying their parents, family, friends and many, many cats and a few dogs.

Born and raised in Los Angeles and Beautiful Downtown Burbank, Ron is a graduate of Burbank High School, class of 1955. He was a hard worker his entire life for Hostess and Van de Kamp’s bakeries as mechanic superintendent, before venturing into the pest control world and ownership, where he would rescue as many adorable critters as he could. Tinkering with his classic cars and bringing home trophies were passions he shared with Nancy and the Milestone Car Club. He finally retired a couple of years after her passing, and enjoyed his family, home, cats, antiques and, of course, a cold beer and a dirty martini.

Like Nancy, Ron will be missed by all who had the pleasure to know him. He certainly enjoyed his daughters, sons-in-law and two beautiful granddaughters and, of course, his cat, Jingle. His advice to all would be to just “keep on truckin’!”
